Raul Ibanez homered twice and hit a game-winning double in the 10th inning to lift the Philadelphia Phillies to a 6-5 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday. The Phillies trailed 5-3 in the eighth when Ibanez hit a two-run shot for his second homer of the game. He doubled to right off Tony Watson (0-2) in the 10th to score Hunter Pence and help the Phillies complete a three-game sweep.

R.A. Dickey had another strong start for the New York Mets. Once again, he didn’t end up with the outcome he wanted. Dickey allowed six hits in six innings, including a three-run home run by Jayson Werth in the first, and the Washington Nationals beat the Mets 3-0 Saturday night. It was the 17th time in 22 starts Dickey (5-9) has gone at least six innings.

Jayson Werth hit a three-run home run, and Yunesky Maya, filling in for traded starter Jason Marquis, earned his first career win for the Washington Nationals in a 3-0 victory over the New York Mets on Saturday night. Maya (1-1) allowed five hits in 5 1-3 scoreless innings after being recalled from Triple-A Syracuse when Marquis was traded to the Arizona Diamondbacks shortly before the game.
