Saturday’s game was canceled ldue to inclimate weather as rains from tropical storm Hanna and her expect arrival to the north east. The game was cancled long before the rain came to New York, and rightly so, it is was much better than making people travel out to Shea only to find out that the game would not be played.
The Mets and Phillies will play a day night doubleheader on Sunday. The rotation will remain the same with Pedro and Jamie Moyer pitching game one which is scheudled for 2:15 p.m. The Mets will play on ESPN Sunday Night Baseball with Johan Santana pitching against Cole Hammels, game time is scheduled for 8:05 p.m.
